The Perfect Shoe Solution!

I, like many shoe obsessed women have constant issues trying to store my shoes, I have done photos on boxes, clear shoe boxes, shoe racks, shoe cabinets, hanging storage, over door storage, under bed storage....you get the picture.

Today after many many years of searching I think I have found the perfect solution; shoe booths! (http://www.babooshoe.com/products.asp?cID=4)

The large one holds 55 pairs of shoes and the small one 25, they have interior lights (with a remote control, for what purpose I'm not exactly sure), they have movable shelves for boots and bags and they aren't hideously ugly! Unfortunately, just when I went to click purchase I saw the exorbitant price tag, I could buy a beautiful bag for the price of a shoe booth.

My question is...

Is the perfect shoe storage solution worth it?

    I was about to comment and say YES YES YES. The solution I have been looking for but for that price I'd say (sadly) forget it.

    I looooooooove the look of these. But for that amount of money i think i will just stick to my bookshelf idea :p But i would really really love to get myself 2 of the large ones in white!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I think it's absolutely worth the money. If you're willing to spend close to $2000 on a handbag (or pair of shoes) shouldn't you spend that much on something that will protect them along with any other items you own with that value?!
    I wish these had been around when I built my house a year ago as I had a shoe rack built in and it cost me $3500!!! It's not nearly as nice as these!
    I'm making my sister buy one! :)

    I love this storage solution, but I don't like the price... when I showed my BF, he asked if it was climate controlled (I mean that's what you would expect!). I recently bought some bookcases (with doors) for all my shoes. I will be posting on my blog soon.

    I keep going back and forth on it, my boyfriend told me I was "ridiculous" and he is more flippant with designer purchases than I am. But it's so hard to find anything that comes close to this.

    I am going to be keeping an eye out CTSB, I need some DIY shoe booth inspiration

    what's wrong with regular shoe racks? the ones i have are cheap ($30) and don't take up much room at all :)

    you are better off buying a bag than an expensive shoe rack!
