I haven't been blogging much as I have been insanely busy at work and posting pictures of suits everyday is pretty boring. I have managed to have some me time though and got my second round of balayage and microdermabrasion on the weekend. I have uneven skin tone and decided to book microdermabrasion on a whim but ended up loving it (I know I'm late on the bandwagon). I think the results were pretty good for the first one and I am going to go back next week for a second round so will see how that turns out.
Has anyone had a full course of microdermabrasion? How did you find the results?
I got the Balayage done Thursday but was really unhappy with the results so called and they redid it on Saturday. They were really lovely about it and I think it was just a miscommunication. The roots are still a bit dark (I am an ash blonde naturally) but next time he is just going to Balayage them so it will be lighter with a little less contrast.
Here is the pic, its a little awkward I know but you get the jist.
Hon, I kind of wish I knew what you were talking about... never heard either of those words before! ; ) Something for your hair? Skin? Anyway, I think you look great; really pretty!

ReplyDeleteLooking good, how's the micro dermabrasion? Is it harsh? I've never looked into it before but now I'm curious :)
ReplyDeleteI'm really keen to try balayage this summer but I'm a bit iffy on how it will look against my skin tone. Yours looks great so far!
ReplyDeleteI totally want balayage... Can you recommend a good place to get it done?

ReplyDeleteJust stumbled across your blog and i loooove it. Such a fresh cool style! And fab taste in shoes, but of course.
Microdermin' it is too harsh for my skin...you should just find a really great esthetician and take it slow!

Your hair looks amazing. I think Balayage is a winner on you! And your skin looks so super clear and even!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks really pretty on you!! And your skin looks good too =). I know what you mean about being super busy at work and not be able to post boring work clothes. Except I wear scrubs so that is way worse than your suits. xoxo

oh my god.the same thing happend to me.they did a process called american tailoring instead of balayage.american tailoring is when they change the top colour of your hair . i wanted it to be my natural ash blonde on top and brighter at the enda.frustrating!
