Let me start off by saying that my last few posts have been relatively uninspiring but it's been a bit mental here....also seem to have a bit of a black Morticia theme going on?
Anyway I bought this Scanlan and Theodore (yes another one) sample dress recently when I was in Melbourne. Turns out its actually an early design of a dress that I already own! I guess I have a specific style. I love anything loose but this dress appealed to me because it's simple enough to wear with my poor neglected Alexander Mcqueen's that sit in my wardrobe untouched because they overwhelm most outfits.
Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a side shot to see the shoes before the rain set in....so much for summer.
On a brighter note there will be an Alexander Mcqueen exhibition on at the Met when I am in New York.....hoorah!
You're right, those shoes and dress complement each other perfectly! And McQueen at the Met? How exciting!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is so simple but SO effective. Isn't it funny the way the simplest things are always the most classic and timeless. The shoes are a gorgeous end note not too fussy and overdone. Great outfit lady.
ReplyDeletethis is exactly my style...loose, flowy, black, what's not to love??
