All about the shoes

Let me start off by saying that my last few posts have been relatively uninspiring but it's been a bit mental here....also seem to have a bit of a black Morticia theme going on?

Anyway I bought this Scanlan and Theodore (yes another one) sample dress recently when I was in Melbourne. Turns out its actually an early design of a dress that I already own! I guess I have a specific style. I love anything loose but this dress appealed to me because it's simple enough to wear with my poor neglected Alexander Mcqueen's that sit in my wardrobe untouched because they overwhelm most outfits.

Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a side shot to see the shoes before the rain set in....so much for summer.

On a brighter note there will be an Alexander Mcqueen exhibition on at the Met when I am in New York.....hoorah!

Annoyance quelled by Mcqueen heelage

I'm in bit of a grumpy mood because I was just trying to take some pics when my tripod fell over and the lens broke...urrrgh! Anyway I hope I can get another one soon because the only other lens I have is too big.

Aside from that I'm visiting the soon to be in-laws today and here are the photos of what I am wearing that I managed to salvage before the lens died a tragic death.

The outfit is pretty boring; Dotti skirt, Country Road jacket, Bally dress which I tucked into the skirt to wear as a top, Gucci sunnies. But I did get to finally wear my Alexander Mcqueen heels that have been sitting in my wardrobe for much much too long.

Here's a few extra pics of them

I absolutely love all the carving in the heel.
